Chat window or Shout Box?

Can a chat window or a shout box be added to this site? I think it would be a great way to increase communication with online members and increase usage!

Considering this site is the exact same as at launch with out of the box styling, I'll say that the feature is impossible to add.

(mChat, X7 chat, AJAX chat, yeah it can be done)

Hey jango I've missed your request.
I've installed mChat under mchat.php
You can click on the Mini Chat link in the navigation bar.

As per using the default theme. It's easier to keep the forum software upto date with the default one.

Touché! I think just changing a few colours on prosilver template will still leave the board looking kind of like default phpbb.
I'm not a designer, so I could use some help in that department, if you have suggestions for colour schemes let me know.

I just switched over to the new styling to give it a try.
Its a nice and clean look, haven't had any issues with it in IE which is generally the most persnickity of the browsers....I'll give it a run in Chrome later and use the console feature to check the css, but right now I don't think there are and errors. Best of all is the site no longer has a "just got this software and don't know what to do with it" look.
If you are not overly comfortable with the coding, the phpbb official site has quite a few customized themes as well that need nothing more than an upload and activation (none of mine are there, I've been focused more on wordpress for the past few years though the principles are the same.)

The downside of custom styles is that all mods are designed for the default style, and you have to update the theme when any of the mods have a new version or phpbb needs to be updated.
