"16 local food establishments" Names? I would be pretty disappointed if I dropped $43.19 a head to spend the evening sampling the menus of Taco Bell and McDonalds.

From memory, last year's participants included:
Sawridge
Prime Social Kitchen
Chocolates and Candelight
Yoshi
The Curry Pot
Yogen Fruz

It was a very nice event. Here's a review from last year

too bad its not a local cook off style event 8-)
I would have demolished the competition with my Caribbean Style Curried Duck with seasoning from Trinidad and Dhalpourie (ground seasoned chickpea layered roti) and my blazing hot jerk chicken...
we should have a cook-off style event for charity in this town 8-)

 I forgot these fine establishments. Try as I might, I can never make my stale bread as yummy as they do. Perhaps my kitchen is too clean.
