A twenty-five year old charged with the death of his cellmate at the Edmonton Remand Centre will appear  in court today.
Justin Cadwell Somers is facing second degree murder charges in the death of Barry Raymond Stewart.
Somers was awaiting trail for a Fort McMurray mischief charge, while Stewart was spending the night in jail to pay off a 110-dollar ticket.
Stewart's head was apparently stomped on while he slept on a mattress on the floor.
A trail date will be scheduled today.
