Manufacturing sales in Alberta are down for the third consecutive month.
This from a Statistics Canada report on monthly manufacturing rates.
Sales in the province dipped 2.6 per cent in June, to $6 billion.
The report stated petroleum and coal products as the primary reason for the decline, with a drop of 19.3 per cent in the industry.
However, excluding petroleum and coal products, sales in the province rose 2.8 per cent over all.
