Big Blackout for Downtown Fort Mac

The majority of Fort McMurray downtown was without power yesterday, due to Tuesday night's storm.
The biggest issue was at the hospital, where their backup generator eventually ran out late yesterday morning.
Bill Heington of ATCO Electric says the hospital then became their biggest priority.
Things went back to normal after noon, and the Northern Lights Health staff want to thank the public for their patience.
As for the rest of the outage, the power has was fully restored at about 2:15 in the afternoon.
Traffic lights were out for most of the day, and RCMP were controlling intersections.
ATCO Electric says everything was caused by a damaged insulator.
