One more part of the Mac Island Project is set to be completed in November.
Drilling will begin as part of the Contract C portion of the Sanitary Sewer Force Main upgrade project at MacDonald Island.
The new sewer line will run from the northwest tip of the island, underneath the Athabasca river, to the opposite side.
The public should be aware, the drilling is expected to create a consistant loud humming noise for the first few days.
