The Municipality reminding motorists that heavy construction vehicles are not permitted on Rainbow Creek Drive.

Signage has been posted indicating the restriction, which will be enforced by Bylaw Services and the RCMP.

The penalty for violation is a fine of  $120.

A heavy construction vehicle is defined as having two axles 11 metres in length or a maximum allowable weight of 7,000 kilograms.

Municipal vehicles are excluded.

Examples include dump trucks, loaders, flat beds, and graders. 

Violations on Rainbow Creek Drive can be reported to the Bylaw Complaints Line at 780-788-4200
