FMSPCA Still On The Hunt For New Executive Director

The search for a new Executive Director for the Fort McMurray SPCA continues.

The FMSPCA is looking for a visionary leader to grow the organization by continuing to be the standard for animal rescue and protection in the RMWB.

The organization needs a senior manager to run day to day operations for its facility which provides safe haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals.

As senior manager, the new E.D. will work with the Board of Directors, carrying out the FMSPCA’s guiding principles and strategic initiatives to meet the goals and objectives of the organization.

Operations Manager Misha Gaertner has acted as interim Executive Director since the departure of former Executive Director Tara Clarke, who left the organization in June – after six years of holding the position.

The position is 40 hours a week, with additional hours required as needed and applications can be submitted until August 15 or until the posting is filled.
