A Fort McMurray man is facing a life sentence for the murder of a local man.
Gerald Robert Ryan plead guilty to murder in 2nd degree and was sentenced to life, with thirteen years parole ineligibility.
The forty-year old victim, Barry Patrick Head was found dead in an abandoned pick-up truck south of Anzac in 2006.
The truck belonged to Ryan and was a key link in the police investigation.
Ryan's DNA will be registered in a provincial database.
