A much needed multi-use facility moved another step closer to reality last night.
Wood Buffalo Council passed a debenture borrowing bylaw to the tune of 142.9 million dollars for the South municipal facility.
That would potentially encompass a fire station, parks and rec area and a maitenance yard.
The project is currently in the design phase and is still several months, if not years away from breaking ground
