Edmonton MLA and Liberal Environment Critic Laurie Blakeman has announced she'll run for party leadership.
Blakeman is the first name in the race to replace outgoing party leader David Swann.
Blakeman said Thursday that her focus is to reposition Alberta as a modern urban province.
