Alison Redford has jumped into the race for leadership of the Alberta Conservative Caucus.
The Justice Minister and MLA for Calgary-Elbow kicked off her campaign with a Tweet [/URL]earlier this morning.
Before running for office, Redford was a human-rights lawyer in South Africa and Vietnam, as well as an elections monitor in Afghanistan.
She also worked for former prime minister Joe Clark.
Redford will be in Fort McMurray tonight for meetings around her policy of making Alberta the World Energy Capital.
