Fort McMurray police charging a local man with drunk driving after a crash in a downtown parking lot.

RCMP say a Chevrolet pick-up truck rear-ended a Pontiac sedan between the Peter Pond Mall and the Boomtown Casino Friday night.

No one was hurt, but an investigation determined that the driver of the truck had a blood-alcohol content four times the legal limit.

41-year old Corey Tuma is due is court today.

Police say drivers who chose to get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol not only put themselves at risk, but also threaten the safety of everyone else on the road.
