Alcohol and speed are believed to have played a role in an early morning crash that killed one person in Fort McMurray.
Wood Buffalo RCMP say they were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on McLennan Crescent in the Gregorie Industrail Park around 2:00 am Monday.
There they found that a vehicle had driven head on into a light pole, killing the 32-year old male driver and only occupant.
The casue of the collision is still under investigation but police say alcohol and speed are likely contributing factors.
