The Fort McMurray Fire Department pulled off a high-risk rescue Sunday.

Spokesman Tany Yao tells Fort McMurray News around 13 members responded to a report of a man who'd fallen head first roughly 50 feet down a cliff behind Abasand.

Fire fighters were able to climb up to the man and safely get him down.

Yao says the man was stabilized and transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
