Everyone passes gas from time to time. During a routine identity check in Berlin, a man accidentally farted twice near a police officer and her squad leader decided it was a deliberate insult. He was given a 900 ($1303.20) fine.

Our gassy heroes lawyer summed it up perfectly "It is one thing if the leader of a police unit sees his colleague's honour as being injured by a fart. But it is quite another if prosecutors and the judiciary agree – that is a failure of the state” Apparently the judge threw out the case the moment he read it. Thus proving that every man, woman, and child has the right to fart in public spaces. What a world we live in…
