Regular EI beneficiaries dipped 4 per cent between January and February, the largest decline among all provinces.
Year-over-year, that figure dropped over 33 per cent as more than 14,000 people stopped receiving EI payments.
Nationally, the number fell by 6,700, to 552,800 people.
