No more reports of suspected child abductor

More than a month after the first disturbing report was filed, and no arrests have been made in a series of attempted child abductions across Fort McMurray.

The Wood Buffalo RCMP investigation is still active but officers say they haven't had any new complaints.

Constable Natasha Lytwenko says parents, care givers and local kids need to remain vigilant.

"The big thing that we want to focus on here, is getting out the message to parents that and their children that it's really important not to talk to strangers, regardless of their age, or sex, nationality or the vehicle that they're driving," says Lytwenko.

In three separate cases, local children were offered rides home by a stranger driving a black pick up.
