The Municipality ammended their roads and transportation bylaw last night.
A portion of the bylaw was ammended to make flashing lights and stop arms mandatory on school buses.
Motorists also have to obey the stop arms and flashing lights, the fine for non-complience is five hundred dollars.
The bylaw amendment also sees the speed limit on MacKenzie Boulevard reduced from 70 kilometres per hour to 50.
