A Fort McMurray man has died in an apparent motorcycle collision south of our city.
Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, an RCMP officer found a motorcycle in the ditch near the 259 kilometer marker on highway 881 south of Fort McMurray.
After searching the area, the Mountie then found the body of 62-year old Frank McKenzie of Fort McMurray.
McKenzie was reported missing on Monday, as he hadn't been heard from since Friday.
An investigation into the exact cause of the collision is still on-going, and RCMP don't know how the collision happened, or if any other vehicles were involved.
