Hundreds of drivers facing traffic fines, following long-weekend road trips.
From Friday to Monday, RCMP and Traffic Sheriffs were out in full force on Alberta roadways.
More than 4,500 violations were issued, province-wide.
299 tickets were handed out on Highway 63, including two impaired driving charges and nearly 200 speeding violations.
While more than 200 tickets were written by conservation officers in Alberta, for offences ranging from exceeding fishing quotas and fishing without a licence.
