The Canadian Cancer Society has released it's 2010 statistics.
The report says almost 174-thousand new cases of cancer will be discovered across Canada this year, and that more than 76-thousand deaths will occur.
It also states that more men than women are diagnosed with cancer, but the gap between the two sexes has narrowed in recent years.
An estimated 15-thousand-900 new cases of cancer will e diagnosed in Alberta this year, with more than six-thousand people expected to loose their battle with the disease.
