Police respond to liquor store robbery on Wednesday morning
A man is in the big house after being arrested following an alleged break and enter and theft from The Thicket Heights Liquor Store.
At about 3 am Wednesday morning, local police say they arrived at the store; but no one was inside.
Witnesses say they saw a black truck speed away and police later found it abandoned in Waterways.
Police used their service dog to locate the suspect, hiding on a residence porch.
The suspect fought with Zod before being arrested.
Police later determined the truck was stolen from Edmonton, the plates stolen from Fort McMurray and inside stolen goods from the liquor store.
