The Chamber of Commerce is stepping into the situation at the Fort McMurray Airport.
Earlier this month, the Airport Commission halted its 100-million dollar expansion, saying they didn't have a clear mandate from Municipal Council.
Now the Chamber says businesses want the City to support the airport, and want public debate on the issue.
The Chamber will hold a news conference at the airport this morning on the issue.
