A group posing as the province is attempting scam money out of oil sands operators.
The Government of Alberta is alerting industry members, a number of companies in the sector have received false invoices seeking environmental and compliance fees.
Any companies to receive the counterfeit wire requests are encouraged to contact Alberta Environment.
