Vehicle theft is soaring in Fort McMurray so far this month.
RCMP say they've received 49 stolen vehicle complaints, and have arrested 10 people in connection with some of the incidents.
However, they believe more of the culprits are out there, and are asking for the public's help.
Residents are warned to be aware of suspicious activity near parked cars, as many of the stolen vehicles have been the result of smashed windows and punched out ignitions.
