The Fort McMurray Public School district is celebrating a 6.2 per cent increase in high school graduation over three years.
The numbers were part of its latest report card, known as the Provincial Accountability Pillar, which looks at everything from academics to safe and caring environments. It shows Grade 12 students in the district have outperformed the provincial average on six of 10 Diploma exams.
The district also received high standards in the areas of Safe and Caring, Program of Studies, Work Preparation, Citizenship and School Improvement.
