A man accused of sexual assaulting a six-year old girl is due to appear in court today.

The incident allegedly occurred sometime last year inside a Thickwood residence.

During a subsequent search of the suspect's living quarters, police siezed pornographic materials depicting underage children.

31-year old Dennis Labillois was arrested November 22, 2011 and charged with sexual assault, possession of child pornography and sexual interference.
