Safety crews were working hard at a Suncor refinery yesterday afternoon after what's being called a rotten egg smell was released.
Suncor officials say there was a hydro carbon release at their Strathcona Refinery around 4 pm.
They say it wasn't long before the situation was taken care of by safety workers, however, the sound of the pressure release may have made the incident sound like an explosion or a fire.
Emergency crews are still monitoring the situation.
