The current economic crisis is effecting the way one oilsands company will spend in 2009.
Suncor Energy, Canada's oldest oilsands operator will cut it's capital spending more one than one third.
Suncor plans to spend 6 billion dollars next year, reducing expenditures from the 9 or 10 billion the company had previously budgeted.
The cut is due to uncertainty in oil prices and credit avaliability, and will delay construction to the planned Voyageur upgrader.
