Syncrude profits are soaring amidst increasing crude prices.
The companys largest stakeholder, the Canadian Oil Sands Corporation, say strong oil prices are fueling strong second quarter earnings.
Revenues were $ 994 million dollars, increasing from $ 796 million during the same time period last year.
Although production volumes were constrained due to maintenance on Syncrude's upgrader, the operator expects to meet its 2011 production target of 301, 400 barrels per day.
