A pair of small wildfires burning in Wood Buffalo
Environment and Sustainable Resource Development says a blaze four kilometres northeast of Fort Chipewyan is 0.01 hectares and is classified as being held.
While a fire burning west of Supertest Hill is 1.4 hectares in size and also being held by fire crews.
Officials say no infrastructure, homes or operations are under threat from the flames.
However the hazard for forest fires remains extreme as the region has experienced high temperatures and low rainfall.
Currently 69 firefighters, eleven helicopters, two air tanker groups and two dozer groups remain on call.
16 wildfires have been recorded in the Waterways District since April.
