Local RCMP are giving us an update on the stabbing incident from late last week.
31-year old Crystal Janvier has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon.
Police say she stabbed her 50-year old mother in the community of Janvier late Thursday night.
At last update, the mother's injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
Janvier will made her first court appearance on Monday.
