All the hard work to beautify the Wood Buffalo region has paid off at this year's National Communities in Bloom awards ceremony.
The region once again got five blooms out of five in the 55,000 plus to 150,000 population category.
Parks, Recreation and Culture Coordinator, Karen Puga says we were also winner of the landscape areas criteria award.
Puga says the judges mentioned and noted the Marine Park Museum and Transportation Heritage as something very unique to our region.
This is the fourth year in a row we got the perfect score.
