Well, I bet the condo board will shut you down as soon as someone complains about strangers in the building or parking issues created by your customers. Not to mention the person renting to you won't be too thrilled when you try installing hair salon equipment (ie. hair washing sinks etc). I know I wouldn't rent a unit to you if you told me your plans.

All it will take is one complaint about you and this policy will be used to shut you down.

If this is your plan I would suggest making sure that you have written permission from the person you are renting from as well as the condo board. It could be an expensive life lesson if you set up shop only to get shut down shortly afterwards.

You'll make a lot in tips working anywhere. Your profession is in high demand and people here pay & tip a lot.
Why bother with the stress of owning a business, there are already many salons here.
