Jeremy Snook Memorial Raffle Achieves Fundraising Goal For Palliative Care Suites

After three years of the Annual Jeremy Snook Memorial Raffle, the Northern Lights Health Foundation has achieved their goal.

On Tuesday, NLHF announced after this year’s raffle, they will now be able to create three family friendly palliative care suites and no raffle will be held in 2018.

If you witnessed a fatal collision on Highway 63 earlier this month, Wood Buffalo RCMP want to speak with you.

26-Year-Old Man Dead Following Collision Involving Two Semi-Trucks On Highway 63

A 26-year-old man is dead following a collision involving semi-trucks on Highway 63.

The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday about 4 km south of Wandering River.

Boyle RCMP says the man was pulled over adjusting his load when he was struck by a semi-truck.

The man from Chilliwack, BC was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital by EMS.
