We've used Michael Oehm from
VENTURE LAW GROUP LLP
#111 9440-49 Street,
Edmonton, Alberta, T6B 2M9
T: 780 450 2929

We only met once to sign all the paperwork, and everything went smoothly so I'm not sure how they behave if something goes wrong.
They were about 40% cheaper compared to what lawyers charge in Fort Mac.

We used Shourie Bhatia Law Offices. We found the cost reasonable. Paid the same as when we used a real estate lawyer 7 years ago.
The main office is in Edmonton but there is a local office to do your signatures at. They were very easy to deal with.

I used McMurray Law, price was fine. They stayed open a bit late one day for me to sign paperwork. :D Nice people there.
I try to do everything local. Shouldn't Fort McMurrayites support Fort McMurrayites?

Thanks everyone, while I asked this for a friend I myself just put in a offer on a place tonight so I will potentially need a lawyer myself now as long as I get accepted over the other two offers coming in.
